It usually lasts between 9 and 12 months. Before the procedure, an anesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated to prevent pain. The most important feature of this substance is that it is present in the human body. And since it already exists in the human body, it does not cause any different and undesirable reactions. In case of undesirable effects and results, there is also a chance of immediate dissolution using the substance called hyaluronidase.
Where is Filler Used?
Fillers are mainly used:

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
The most common filler is hyaluronic acid. Side effects are rare, but minor bleeding and bruising may occur at the injection site, which may last for a few days after the procedure.

Categorized as temporary fillers, these are the most commonly used fillers because of their safety. The effect is seen immediately after the injection and lasts for 9-12 months depending on the area of application.
Semi-permanent or Biocompatible Fillers
Calcium Hydroxyapatite
These fillers consist of a gel containing calcium hydroxyapatite and water, which is produced in a laboratory. Once injected into the affected area, the gel, which acts as a carrier, is absorbed by the body and releases microspheres containing calcium hydroxyapatite. It then stimulates the cells in the injected area and increases the production of connective tissue. In this process, called biological stimulation, new collagen synthesis continues in the tissue and regeneration increases day by day. No allergy test is required before the procedure. The effect lasts up to 2 years, and if necessary, a second or third application can be performed to prolong the effect.
What to Consider Before and After Filler Injection?
Intensive sports and sweating as in long baths and saunas are not recommended after the application. It is recommended to avoid massages that can be considered rough on the treated areas for 1 week. If there is any redness, bruising or tenderness in the application area, you should consult your doctor.
