StarWalker MaQX features patented ASP (Active Pulse Shaping) and MaQX (Ultra-High-Energy Pico/Nanosecond Pulse) technology. Unlike conventional Q-Switched lasers, it creates an acoustic shock wave in the target tissue (melanin pigment or tattoo ink).
